I had an amazing stay at this place! The location is absolutely perfect, overlooking the bay and just a short walk into town. It was so convenient to be able to walk right into town, whether it was for shopping or trying out some of the local restaurants. The warm hospitality and fantastic breakfasts offered by the owner Clay were definitely one of the highlights. Clay was one of the friendliest and most hospitable B&B owners I have ever met. He always had a friendly face and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. The service and attention to detail from the staff was exceptional, and the delicious breakfast creations were a true culinary delight. The room amenities provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay, from the heating and air conditioning to the mini-bar and sitting area. The atmosphere was cozy and the garden area was a lovely spot to relax.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The inn is located right across from the bay, providing beautiful waterfront views. It is situated at the end of a dead-end street, offering a peaceful and quiet environment. Moreover, the ferry from the North Fork to Shelter Island is conveniently close, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. Additionally, Main Street is just a short distance away, allowing for easy access to shopping and dining options.

The parking area at the hotel is limited.

The location of the hotel was fantastic! It was conveniently situated just a short walk away from the main part of town, but still away from all the crowded streets. The view from the hotel, especially from the Shelter Island Room on the 2nd floor, was absolutely stunning. We could see the water and it was wonderfully restful.

There were a couple of minor issues that bothered me during my stay. there was no cup available in the room for brushing teeth, which was a bit inconvenient.

I had an enjoyable stay at The Stirling House Waterfront Inn last weekend. The staff were excellent and the location was the best, very close to the sea. The hotel was not far from many fine restaurants, downtown Greenport galleries, and shops. There was nothing to complain about, the venue met all my needs. I strongly recommend it.

My wife and I recently stayed at a true gem in a historic and quaint town. This charming bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is breathtaking, with stunning views of the bay just steps away. The room we stayed in, the French Room, was spacious and beautifully decorated. We loved the jacuzzi tub and the airy living area. The breakfast served on the front porch overlooking the bay was absolutely delicious, with a variety of homemade pastries and a mouthwatering omelette. The inn itself is clean, spacious, and offers 24/7 access to snacks and drinks. The owner, Clay, was incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us great suggestions on places to visit in the town. We enjoyed exploring the quaint village and its charming shops, as well as attending the Maritime fair. Despite being located near the end of a dead-end street, there was ample parking available. The town itself is just a short walk from the inn, and we didn't need to use our car at all during our stay. We also appreciated the proximity to the main village park, where we had the pleasure of experiencing the carousel. our stay at this B&B was unforgettable, and we can't wait to return in the future. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.
